From the deck of the Dancing Bear Residence Club in Aspen, Colorado, you could see the white peaks of the Food & Wine Classic tents four stories below. But the big action on that sparkling June evening was taking place on that sun-drenched rooftop, where Dancing Bear hosted its VIP Media Party, featuring 7X Beef, Wines from Spain, and spirits from Woody Creek Distillers.
7X Executive Chef Gilbert Pepin manned a carving station that served up grilled New York Strip on corn chips with an avocado relish chimichurri sauce, and waitstaff passed open-faced 7X Colorado sliders with chipotle ketchup and fried shallots. Celebrity chefs and wine experts dotted the crowd of Aspen notables, while food journalists from all over the country got their first delicious tastes of 7X Beef.
