That’s a Wrap: 7X @ Food & Wine
It didn’t take long for 7X Beef to become the talk of the Food & Wine Classic last weekend in Aspen. After the first Grand Tasting on Friday, where attendees sampled both ribeye and an Asian-Style meatball, the beef became an overwhelming favorite.
Attendees raved about every cut placed on the 7X Saloon Bar in front of them. Most loved the taste so much that they circled back for seconds, thirds, and even fourths.
“We expected the beef to be popular, but we had no idea just how big the crowds would be around our station,” executive chef Gilbert Pepin said. “At times, it was hard to keep up with the high demand.”
Pepin prepared a different dish for every tasting, giving foodies the opportunity to sample all of the main cuts that are sold at 7XBeef.com.
Throughout the three-day event, the 7X Crew had the opportunity to meet and mingle with world famous chefs like Jose Andres and Barbara Lynch. After his third visit to the 7X Bar, Andres was heard proclaiming that 7X Beef is the “best beef in the world.”
The weekend wrapped up the way it started with the popular ribeye as the last dish of the Food & Wine Grand Tasting.
“We were so honored to be able to participate in Food and Wine this year,” Rob Gill, the president of 7X Beef said. “We’re pleased that we had the chance to show people just how spectacular this beef is.”
